It was a surprise to receive a call from one of the " IDF " officers, giving me his support, and apologize for all what the " IDF " soldiers did to me.

The first moment he introduced him self, I asked him if he still working in the army or not. And when he said yes, I was astonished!!

Actually, I remember some nice Israeli soldiers and officers I met as a journalist,

Colonel Igal Sharon was a nice commander of the " IDF " soldiers in Hebron. He used to deal with all of the human stories I was published in the newspapers, and he tried several times to slove some of the Palestinians problems, he used to visit the Palestinians families their houses were occupied by his soldiers, and he listen to their complaints.

He punished some of his soldiers when they behaived crazy with Palestinians, and when the Palestinian woman Nazehah Abu Dahoud, sexualy harassed by the " IDF " soldiers, they were stationed on her roof in 1997, he investigated his soldiers and he put them in prison after I published the story in my newspaper and I posted to the Israeli press through my friends, the journalists (Sami Soukol and Ada Ushbez) from Ha'aretz newspaper.

Once the soldiers were broke into Nazehah's bed room in her house, (MY HOUSE NOW), at the morning, one of them exposed him self, and told her that he have a big (PENUS) for her that's better more than the small (PENUS) she had. and he pointed to the small child he was with her in the room.

And while I cuased alot of criticizem noise for Colonel Igal Sharon in the media, he was a nice Commander in Hebron, and when the Israeli TV made a show about me and him through (OVDA), (Hebron the City without Mercy), the program made by Ilana Dayan, the settlers humiliated him personaly and spread false roumers against him.

Aron, the Paratrooper commander who served in Hebron in 1998 was a nice officer too. Once he visited a Palestinian family in Tel-Romaideh with other commanders, and when I follwed them to understand the reason behind their visit, every body was speaking in Hebrow and Aron was my translator to English!!

Colonel Barokh Najjar was very nice colonel with me either, while I criticized him alot in the media and I caused noise noise for him, But he was respecting me, and once he said, that he wish to see more Palestinians women like me, but he is not wishing to see another journalist woman like me. He meant the noise I made for him in the media definding the Palestinians rights!!
