Rachel Our fellow activist and personal friend Rachel Avnery, wife of Uri, has May 21 passed away succumbing to a longtime illness. A devoted seeker of Israeli-Palestinian peace, she was a founding member of the Gush Shalom movement, an effective organizer who had a listening ear for all, a joyful personality.
