Peretz and Olmert prove again that the Palestinians have no Israeli partner.
“The army’s massive invasion into the heart of Palestinian Nablus is an irresponsible provocation, manifesting a policy of blind brute force” says Gush Shalom- The Israeli Peace Bloc. “Again, Ehud Olmert and Amir Peretz, the partners of the arch-racist Lieberman, prove that the Palestinians don’t at present have an Israeli partner for serious peace talks. In its relations with the Palestinians and the Arab World the government resorts to meetings and declarations with no content, with no result and without the slightest value – and in parallel, with a policy of occupation, oppression and settlement on the ground. If it is the government’s intention to encourage and strengthen the most extreme forces in the Palestinian society, it is certainly going about it the right way”.
