Friends, I told you yesterday that I would force a vote on my Iran War Powers Resolution and now we have a critical update: The Senate will vote tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4, on my legislation to block Donald Trump from unauthorized and illegal military hostilities in Iran. Every senator will have to go on record tomorrow and declare whether it is in our best interest to send our sons and daughters into conflict against Iran. I urge every one of my colleagues in the strongest possible terms to vote to end this dangerous, unnecessary, and illegal war that has already resulted in the loss of six service members and more than a hundred civilians.I'm asking for your help to raise a strong public outcry on this issue. |
