כמאתיים פעילי "גוש שלום" ותנועות-שלום אחרות נענו להזמנת תושבי הכפר והפגינו ביום ג' (7.7.09) נגד הגדר, המונעת מבני הכפר להגיע לכרמי הזיתים שלהם.
