במלאת שנתיים להפגנות השבועיות בבילעין, "סטלינגראד הפלסטינית", נערכה הפגנה גדולה מהרגיל. חמשה אוטובוסים ושיירה של מכוניות פרטיות הביאו כ-300 מפגינים ישראליים, שהצטרפו ל-1000 המפגינים המקומיים. הצבא חסם בעוד מועד את כל כבישי-הגישה, אבל המפגינים הצליחו בכל זאת לפלס להם דרך ולהגיע.
